To pass something on is not to give — it is to light. Whether in concert with an audience, in lessons with my students, or even in a lecture, my goal is to light small candles of curiosity in people's hearts — to make them want to keep searching, later, of their own accord.
01 · The Craftsman's Gesture
Restoring a piano means learning through the hands what years of practice don't always reveal: the instrument's intimate mechanics, its patience, its demands.
02 · Lectures & Talks
Speaking about music, philosophy, or travel in front of an audience is another way of composing: you have to find the right tempo, the right silences, for ideas to blossom!
03 · Pedagogy
Trained in pedagogy at the Haute École de Musique in Lausanne, I approach teaching as a discipline in its own right: as demanding and as alive as the stage.
