The mountains taught me slowness — the kind you need to climb a slope, and the rarer kind you need to truly look at what surrounds you. A rock, a certain light, a trace of frost: all good reasons to stop.
01 · Mountains
Standing before a peak like the Matterhorn, you measure your own scale. It isn't a feeling of being crushed, but a useful reminder: we are part of a world far larger than ourselves.
02 · Expeditions
Multi-day expeditions have their own rhythm — that of the effort, then the rarer one of reaching the ridge, when the landscape finally opens up on both sides.
03 · Observation
Before the grand landscape, there is often a detail: a frosted blade of grass, a texture, a raking light. Learning to see them means learning to slow down.
